"Solar Flux Emergence and the Formation of Active Regions"
On the solar surface we can see active regions,
which are composed of sunspots and many active phenomena.
The active regions are thought to be the consequence of flux emergence,
i.e., magnetic fluxes from deep convection zone.
I'm trying to investigate the physics of flux emergence
by numerical simulations using supercomputers.
